Baking :Journey From Passion To Business .

If baking is any labor at all, it's a labor of love. A love that gets passed from generation to generation.(RECINA BRETT).It's all about a balancing art between time, temperature and ingredients .There’s something incredibly soothing about the rhythm of measuring ingredients, mixing them together, and watching dough rise into delicious treats. Whether it’s the simple joy of kneading bread or the intricate art of decorating a cake, baking feels like a personal retreat where I can let my mind wander and my spirit rejuvenate.

The word “cake” is derived from the Old Norse word “kaka”, which means “flatbread”. Early cakes were actually more like what we would today consider biscuits or cookies. They were flat and dry, and often had fruit or nuts added to them for flavor. The first cakes were probably made in ancient Egypt .There are 50 type of flavor .Usually so well  known flavor  are vanilla ,chocolate , Red Velvet Cake, Strawberry Cake, cheese cake ,marble cake ,mud cake . But there are also so many flavors  of cake and there is a difference between each variation of cake as they follow different recipes.

For me, baking is more than just a hobby; it's a cherished ritual that turns everyday moments into something special. This journey started 2 years ago and still more to go .I feel so connected with this art that it works as a medicine or a therapy  for me whenever i feel sad or depressed .I find happiness in  measuring  ingredients ,mixing them together ,make a smooth cake batter and pour it into the cake tin and put it into preheated oven .When the cake batter rise inside oven it feels so satisfying .It removes all the tiredness and gives another level  of pleasure. After the cake is baked i put my whole concentration to make the cake look beautiful and attractive .


I didn't got success at my 1st attempt .I  failed for several time but I didn't give up .I  practiced more and more even still I practicing to make my cakes even more better .i think there is no age to learn and i enjoy a lot to learn new things like different decoration methods or different baking methods.

The best part is sharing the results with friends and family, seeing their smiles as they enjoy something made with love. Turning my  baking passion into a business is an exciting adventure that requires dedication, creativity, and strategic planning. By following some  steps,  I transform my love for baking into a business. Whether I am just starting or looking to refine my existing venture, remember that the journey is as sweet as the treats I create. Back in 2023 I started my journey as a home baker .At very first the experience was not satisfying as was not getting much orders .I was getting a few orders from my known person. That demotivated me but by the bless of almighty i got a supportive family they always encouraged me to stick on it .After a long struggle and lot of upside downs I'm still stick to my business and by the bless of almighty it's  on right track.

For a baker its so hard to see their cake been damaged my herself or by others .As a baker i face this problem frequently .Sometime cake is displaced or damaged while parceling it to it's desired destination .then customer returns the cake i fix it and send it again .it feels so disheartened when i see any of my cake is damaged .

The journey from passion to business was not too smooth and easy .I faced all the obstacles and reached at a point where i have plenty number of customers and many repeat customers .when my customers shares their reviews with us it feels so good to be a part of their happiness and that makes me more happy and encourage me to work more for them. A good review from customers  and a happy smile of them worth all of my hard work and tiredness. I am still working working to improve my skills so that i can serve my customers a good product that can bring smile on their faces .    Good review from any customers works as a inspiration  for a baker than encourages them to work more and more .
